Luna Lias is a musician, producer, and singer-songwriter from the South of Italy, currently based in Bologna. Drawing from a rich blend of industrial, noise, post-rock, noise rock, deconstructed club, drone, and ambient music, her work explores the tension between the cold, mechanical side of electronics and the warmth of organic textures. Through Ableton algorithms she breaks down and reworks digital inputs and analog signals, her raw guitar playing and emotionally charged vocals blending and contrasting with the perfect, on grid electronics. Her sound is both experimental and deeply emotional, offering a fusion of sonic landscapes that range from hauntingly delicate to brutally intense.
Her second EP “Marcata”, is a secret travel diary, the story of a transformation experience from which blood, scrap metal and noise remain. Currently working on a new album that promises to be heavier and more guitar-driven, she’s also experimenting with new vocal techniques that will further push the boundaries of her already unique sound. Having toured Italy extensively and recently made her mark in the Czech Republic, Germany, and The Netherlands, Luna Lias continues to expand her reach both sonically and geographically.
